Formació bàsica en seguretat – STCW A-VI/1
Durant el curs Formació bàsica en seguretat aprendràs com actuar en diferents situacions d'emergència a bord del vaixell. El curs es divideix en 4 mòduls.
- Supervivència a la mar en cas d'abandonament del vaixell STCW A-VI/1-1
- Prevenció i lluita contra incendis STCW A-VI/1-2
- Normes mínimes en primers auxilis STCW A-VI/1-3
- Seguretat a la feina i responsabilitats socials A-VI/1-4
Curs presencial teòric i pràctic en què coneixeràs les situacions d'emergència a bord i et prepara per donar resposta, aplicant de forma immediata els procediments i actuacions que redueixin al mínim els possibles perills en matèries de lluita contra incendis, salvament, supervivència i prevenció de accidents a bord.
La formació s'imparteix en català.
A més, per ser alumne de l'escola disposaràs de:
- Material didàctic.
- Borsa de treball.
- Descompte en diferents allotjaments a prop.
El curs impartit per Escola Port està homologat per la DGMM i compleix les esmenes STCW10 Manila. Aquest certificat obligatori per poder treballar en un vaixell de navegació marítima.

I did the Maritime Basic Safety Training at Escola Port, and it was genuinely a great experience. The course lasted two weeks in total (weekends included) with practical sessions. I chose to do the course in the evening, so I was able to combine it with my work. The theoretical sessions took place in the classroom, while the practical sessions were outside. Overall, the content of the course was much based on real-life situations, which I think is very valuable. So once we learned about the theory of the content we then on the weekends and sometimes during the week as well were able to put the theoretical part learned in class into practice. This combination of theory and practice really ensured and reaffirmed to me the things I was learning. In my opinion, our classes were so unique thanks to the professionalism and passion the teachers have. Throughout the course, we were confronted with different scenarios (fire fighting, abandonment of a ship, saving someone at risk), and we practiced how to approach such situations correctly. And again, thanks to the passion of the teachers in and outside the classroom and even when we were confronted with difficult situations, there was always much motivation present. In general, the atmosphere the teachers created was what made this course an exceptional experience. We had different teachers with different backgrounds and experiences, which I thought was very positive as it enabled us to gain great insights into the different sectors the material of the course is connected to. So overall, I was positively surprised by the professionalism, passion and in general the way the school teaches and cooperates. Escola Port showed me that they genuinely care about the learning outcome of their students. I would recommend the courses at Escola Port really to everyone that has the opportunity to do so.
