Basic safety training STCW A-VI/1
Theoretical and practical course in which you will learn about emergency situations on board and prepare you to respond, immediately applying the procedures and actions that minimize possible dangers in matters of firefighting, rescue, survival and accident prevention on board.
70h (45 theory + 25 practices).

Yacht skipper course
All courses include: streaming tutorials, all the online syllabus, explanatory videos, exam test, didactic material, mandatory practices and a review class before the exam.
PY theory + practices
Theoretical course 30 h:
Face-to-face or streaming, weekdays or weekends.
Mandatory practices:
Navigation: 48 hours.
Complementary practices:
Sailing: 4:00 p.m.
The prices do not include management expenses, such as exam fees, issuance of title, certificate processing, among others.
Issuance of the PY, STCW certificate and authorization
PY PRO is a trade term that refers to the title Yacht skipper with attached ratings.
Once you have passed the exam and completed the practices, you will be able to issue your Yacht Skipper title. With the PY title and the STCW Basic Safety Training certificate, you must submit an application for attached qualifications addressed to the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy.

Term
You have a maximum of 24 months to issue the title, counted from the date you pass the exam or complete the practices (whichever you did first).
Documentation
- Valid ID, residence card or passport.
- Receipt of payment of the corresponding fee.
- Nautical Medical Certificate carried out in Driver Recognition Centers (CRC).
- It is not necessary if less than 2 years have passed since the date of issue of a previous title.
- If you carry out the procedure on your own, the medical certificate must be provided in digital format through the application for the issuance of certificates of nautica.gencat.cat
- If you delegate the issuance process to EscolaPort, you must present the original document to the school.

You must present the following documentation at the Maritime Captaincy:
- Application form for Specialty Certificates.
- Photocopy of valid DNI, NIE or passport.
- Photocopy of the diploma of the "Basic Safety Training" course, according to order FOM/2296/2002, issued by Escola Port.
- Proof of payment of fees for Professional and Recreational Maritime Titles.
MARITIME BOOK
The Maritime Book is the official identity document of the sailor, internationally accepted, in which the shipments and landings of the holder are recorded. It is issued by the DGMM and must be requested at the Maritime Captaincy once the cCertificate of Basic Safety Training.
In order to board, you must pass a maritime boarding medical examination (free) that is carried out at the ISM Maritime Health Centers, belonging to the Social Security.

Con la capacidad de un instructor como Raúl, la organización y el desarrollo de la práctica ha dado un resultado positivo a mí formación personal, como patrón de yate, adquiriendo una experiencia completa en la práctica.La embarcación, aunque tuvo un pequeño problema puntual en la travesía debido a un fuerte temporal, (fuerza 7,olas de 3 m ) de la moche anterior, tiene una navegación que transmite mucha seguridad, la experiencia fue algo dura en ese periodo pero muy Marinera….Pese a la normativa del Covid 19, la utilización de los servicios a sido suficientemente cubiertos, la embarcación es amplia y cómoda.Sin duda repetiría la practica.

Como ya sucediese con las prácticas realizadas del PER en la Escolaport, esta de Patrón de Yate la valoro positivamente. El dinero invertido ha correspondido con el aprendizaje adquirido. Los cinco apartados que requiere el contenido de la práctica opino que han sido desarrollados de forma didáctica. El barco, el material, la organización de la escuela, los horarios, la seguridad, etc. me ha parecido correcto. Debido a las condiciones metereológicas que tuvimos la práctica tuvo momentos difíciles, creo que con estas condiciones y el riesgo asumido por parte de la escuela a salir a navegar a hacer la travesía de la práctica en mi caso supone un aprendizaje si cabe mayor. El profesor Raúl Serrano tiene mucha capacidad de trabajo, mucho conocimiento para enseñar a futuros navegantes, un hombre que transmite seguridad, da la sensación de que tiene casi todo controlado en todo momento, los otro nueve tripulantes todos y cada uno de ellos extraordinarios también, muy buena conducta por parte de todos, entusiastas de la navegación, una suerte.He vivido la práctica de Patrón de Yate de forma intensa y satisfactoria.Gracias
